CNC machining industry needs operators on site to continually monitor that manufacturing process is normal. Also, on a periodic basis, each CNC machine needs to go through some tests including machining conditions, workpieces’ size measurement, confirmation of production rate, workpieces quality and tools lifetime. Higher quality tools lead to longer lifetime and thus need to be changed only after producing a certain amount of workpieces.

In order to facilitate operators’ work with efficient tool change, Baoje designed a locking system totally different from other brands. Our locking system has fool-proofing function and does not require much from the operators. Operators in that case just need to know how to screw but they don’t need to make any adjustments such as length or tool tip angle adjustments. They just need to put the tool until the end, put the two screws on and everything else will just self-adjust.

We already made a short video to allow first-timers to have a better understanding of the tool change process which is quick and easy. The operator in the video used only 42 seconds to completely change a new tool. Actually, an operator needs less than 2 minutes to complete tool change, thus reducing time and increasing productivity.
